About Us
Jesmone Robins, Owner
Kindred Kare was founded by owner Jesmone Robins to provide a perceived needed service. She is the owner and administrator of The Robins Nest Daycare Center. She has an associate’s degree in education. Her history is in childcare services and she takes pride and joy in caring for others and making positive impacts on the lives of those she provides care for, as well as their families. Her faith has instilled in her that being of service is what she is called to do, while teaching and showing her the fulfillment of her acts of service. She is now extending that love to providing services for and within the DODD community.
Verlinda Bennett, CEO/DOO
Verlinda is a former DODD agency owner with extensive experience in the field of Health and Human Services. She has 2 master’s degrees: one in social work and one in education. She is a social worker as well as a social work trainer for the state of Ohio. She also has 14 years of previous experience as a social worker at the Stark County Department of Job and Family Services, and over 30 years of experience working with people from diverse backgrounds. She prides herself on being and advocate and encouraging others. She loves to see individuals persevere in the midst of trying circumstances to achieve success.
Our "Why"
Stemming from the belief that everyone has the right to live a qualitative life of their choosing, we stand in the gap to help ensure that this right is held and secured by all we encounter. We want to be a part of the team of those we serve and help them to lead meaningful independent lives of their choosing.
The goals of Kindred Kare are:
